Some of my earliest memories are of burying my face in the poppies and peonies my grandmother grew beside her house in Ohio.
Years later, after discovering gardening in the tiny backyard of my New York City apartment and eventually planting my own cutting garden in New Jersey, I realized those childhood flowers had planted something in me, too.
I never set out to become a flower arranger. I simply fell in love with growing flowers.
At first, I brought armfuls of blooms inside and tucked them into mason jars. Before long, I wanted to learn more - how to create arrangements that felt effortless, natural, and full of movement.
What surprised me most wasn't just how beautiful the flowers were. It was how they made me feel.
Arranging flowers asks you to slow down. To notice. To be present. It quiets the constant chatter of everyday life and replaces it with something peaceful, creative, and deeply satisfying.
I'm a creative entrepreneur, flower grower, and graduate of both Floret's Flower Arranging Workshop and Flower Farming Workshop. I love helping people discover just how much beauty is already growing around them. My favorite arrangements combine seasonal blooms with flowers, foliage, herbs, and branches to create a naturally gathered style that feels effortless and inviting.
Before Gathered from the Garden, I founded and led Erin's Faces, a clean beauty company, for 14 years before selling the business. Education and empowerment were at the heart of everything I did. Today, I bring that same philosophy to flowers, sharing approachable techniques and encouragement that help people create beautiful arrangements with confidence.
My hope is that you'll leave our time together inspired to keep bringing flowers into your home and know that you'll know exactly what to do with them.
